Everything was very flavorful, delicious. It was really good the sourdough bread was highly recommended and it did disappoint! They also have a homemade gym that is really good has a raspberry flavor to it. Tastes very refreshing. We got the meat and greet. We added two eggs. It normally only comes with two alone and we got an espresso coffee with almond milk. They can adjust each plate to what you need. It was great for a business meeting. Something small parking, which is a plus downtown.

Labor Street Cafe was a true gem to find!! We walked in to a clean, inviting, friendly establishment with affordable and reasonable prices. As we sat and looked over the menus, the owner stopped at our table and chatted, making sure we felt welcome. We ordered at the counter, made all the adjustments and customizations that a child, a picky older adult, and an octogenarian requested with perfect accuracy, and delivered hot and delicious food to our table quickly. We were absolutely thrilled with the excellent service, the delicious food, and the inviting atmosphere. Excellent job over all and we WILL be back!!

Came here looking for an alternative to the absurdly priced hotel breakfast at the hotel we were staying at just by seating "breakfast near (hotel)". Prices are great for the area (10-15/person). Service was friendly and helpful for first timers. Food made me and everyone in my crew happy. I got the French Omelette with Gruyere and Sausage and it came with a side of hash browns. It was delicious. Other selections from my crew were the Biscuits & Gravy and the Meet & Greet. All reports back to delicious. The sweet tea was great and the coffee gets a great review from the coffee drinkers of my crew. This place has been around since 2023, and I hope it's around for more.

A Neighborhood Gem with Incredible Heart... ​If you are looking for a spot that truly embodies the spirit of the Lavaca neighborhood, Labor St. Cafe is it. From the moment you walk into this quaint, cozy space, you are surrounded by the work of local artists—a beautiful tribute to the community that this cafe so clearly loves and serves. ​The hospitality here is absolutely top-tier. The owner, Kevin, was incredibly helpful during our visit. It is rare to see an owner who so visibly takes pride in his establishment and genuinely cares about his guests' experience. The service alone makes you want to become a regular. ​As for the food, you can tell everything is scratch-made with quality ingredients. There were hits and misses, but the highlights were spectacular: ​The Turkey Sandwich: Absolutely phenomenal. The addition of sun-dried tomatoes was a genius touch, adding a wonderful, rich depth of flavor to the dish. Highly recommend! ​The Burger: The flavor profile was excellent and well-seasoned, but unfortunately, it was overcooked. We came at around 11ish, we had the the eggs benny, buisuits and gravy and tried the pancakes. All were incredibly delicious! There was a bit of a wait on the food but the atmosphere was so calming it didn’t feel that long( abt 35-40 mins) we also had a maple brown sugar latte VERY GOOD! eggs benny were cooked perfectly and biscuits had that good peppery kick. Pancakes were also phenomenal! Definitely recommend. Be prepared for a small wait and ordering is done at the front counter then you and food is brought to you. Other than that great little spot and would return
